Well done one and all
Hearty congratulations to all the winners and shortlisted entries of the Marketing Week Engage Awards 2013. Each year the judges are increasingly challenged to settle on the winners of each category as the calibre of entries just keeps soaring.
The Engage Awards entries are judged on their ability to demonstrate innovative thinking, creative implementation and return on investment.
This year we gave the categories a shake up with some new ideas, including the addition of a Content Marketing award to underline the growing importance of this discipline in helping connect with an ever-fragmenting customer base.
We also launched the Senior Marketer of the Year award to recognise the individual achievement of marketers in devising fantastic campaigns and providing superb team leadership. The ultimate winner was decided by a public vote so for the winner it's a true endorsement of their peers.
We want to keep the awards evolving to reflect this fast changing industry and you can be sure we’ll be reviewing the categories again for next year.
But to return to this year's awards, we’d like to thank all the judges, a body made up of leading industry luminaries, who gave up so much of their time to ensure the entries were treated with respect and given their proper due.
Also, our gratitude to all our sponsors who have made the Engage Awards and the gala awards night possible. Finally, thanks to all who took the time to enter the awards; it was a genuine privilege to see a body of work both so massively varied and genuinely inspiring.
